Engineering Associates in the LEAD Program, with Shaw, are college graduates that will utilize their engineering skills to complete high-priority project work to strengthen our competitive edge in the market. These projects will include working with a variety of business groups, being immersed in process optimization, and striving to achieve value-maximizing goals.
During their time in the LEAD Program,Engineering Associates will build their knowledge base regarding manufacturing techniques, process knowledge, product development, customer service, human resource management, inventory control, product transportation, and shipping/receiving procedures. In addition, trainees will complete personal and professional development training courses such as Time Management and Stephen Covey's Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. After having sufficient opportunity to grow with the company and network with other Shaw management personnel, Engineering Associates will interview for open entry-level positions in the company and will move into those roles when their projects have concluded.
A Bachelor's Degree is required.
Degree/Major: Industrial Engineering or Operations Management
Minimum 2.5 grade point average.
Citizenship: US Citizen, Permanent Resident, Asylum, or Refugee.
Co-op or intern experience preferred
