Job Description

Here is an opportunity to work in our newly established Distribution Center in Seattle, WA. At Motion Industries, Distribution Center Supervisors are key members of our team. They provide the highest levels of customer service by overseeing shipping, receiving, stocking and maintaining merchandise for the Branch. Work Hours: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday - Friday (Hours May Vary)

Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area
  • Provide effective leadership of Distribution Center employees
  • Manage job duties and reports
  • Ensure completion of daily tasks in a timely manner
  • Report problems and concerns related to job completion, employee needs, and general warehouse functions to Distribution Center manager
  • Provide training for new employees and cross train existing employees on new jobs
  • Handle other tasks as assigned by DC manager

  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills
  • Able to read descriptions, Qty., and MINO accurately
  • Able to regularly stand, walk, talk and hear
  • Able to occasionally sit and stoop, kneel crouch, climb or crawl
  • Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 150 pounds, with assistance as necessary
  • Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  • General warehouse knowledge
  • Excellent attendance
  • Excellent communication skills
  • General PC knowledge and understanding of PIMS/WMS
  • Material Handling equipment experience/operator: Picker and Fork Lift
  • Must be a team player
  • Good organizational skills
  • MUST be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Valid driver's license
