Location: Topeka, Kansas
This position ensures that all company offices and facilities are kept in good repair and functioning properly by performing periodic inspections and upkeep/repairs to buildings, facilities, and equipment. Works with custodial staff, groundskeepers, and other service providers needed to ensure all facilities are maintained and functioning properly to enhance the appearance and productivity of the company.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 3:30pm - 10:00pm
Perform regular maintenance and repair of company buildings/equipment or furnishings. Obtains work assignments from the maintenance tech ll, maintenance manager or facilities director. May include minor cleaning.
Assist in coordinating routine scheduled maintenance including service providers for facilities and vehicles.
Detect security and safety concerns and report to management according to policy.
Keeps an inventory of supplies and materials needed for maintenance/repairs.
Must comply with current applicable laws, safety regulations and bank policies and procedures.
Able to stand, crouch, and climb to perform repairs, use ladders, and perform various types of manual labor with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must have manual dexterity sufficient to use hand tools. Occasionally drive and operate bank-owned vehicles.
Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise. May be called upon to work outdoors in inclimate weather as well. May be called upon to work during evening and weekend hours when emergency situations occur or when there are service disruptions.

Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines / requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace. Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters.
