Full/Part Time Full-Time
Counselors will be responsible for planning, leading and implementing programs and experiences in outdoor environments. They will also be responsible for the general safety of the participants. Programs included are: Outdoor Education, 4-H, Wildlife, Voyager, Adventure, Sewee and C-CATS etc.
35% - Essential - Program Management:
Assist in planning, and teaching all components of the program/recreational areas assigned which may include: canoeing, teams course, high ropes, climbing wall, recreation, crafts, swimming, tubing, paintball, games and archery.
Assist and leads participants in special recreational events.
Work with camp directors in creating the weekly schedule for your camp groups. Be flexible to changes as needed.
25% - Essential - Supervision:
Counselors will be responsible for the supervision and safety of all participants in their care.
Lead campers to and from programs and activities.
Identify and responds to participant behavior issues.
Communicate with parents about participants experiences and report any concerns to camp leadership.
25% - Essential - Safety:
Know and understand all emergency procedures associated with the program.
This includes but is not limited to being responsible for your campers safety and their whereabouts at all times.
Maintain accurate program records including incident reports, logbook documentation and daily cumis reports
10% - Essential - Equipment Management:
Set-up, maintain and break down the site and program areas.
Maintain inventory, turn back into storage area all equipment used, in good working order. Report any equipment failures, or replacement needs.
Assist with routine cleanup of facilities used.
5% - Essential - Other Duties:
All other duties as assigned by the Program Director and Assistant Director.

No Supervisory Duties - Not responsible for supervising employees.
