The TALENT CONSULTANT is directly involved in the candidate marketing and sourcing of
interim leadership and advisory services candidates and the placement of those candidates for B. E. Smith searches. This includes conducting the initial communication with 1st time candidates, ongoing communication with active interim leaders and consultants approaching the end of their engagements and interim leadership and advisory services alumni. Finally, the Talent Consultant must document the skills and career results of interim leadership candidates for candidate profiles that are shared with B. E. Smith clients.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Conducting initial interviews with applicants for future employment by B. E. Smith for
interim leadership and advisory services positions.
Proposing candidates for open interim leadership and advisory services positions to
Talent Strategies executives.
Completing quality deliverables, such as interim leader/advisor profiles and references.
Working with the interim leadership and advisory services search/placement team to
implement and improve processes.
Building strategic and innovative alliances with the interim leadership/advisory services
Facilitating excellent communication between team Talent Strategies members.
Ensure that all client/candidate/applicant interactions are recorded in B. E. Smith s
staffing/recruiting information system.
Works directly with the interim leadership and advisory services search/placement team
to improve and implement processes that result in continuous improvement.
Collaborates with the interim leadership and advisory services search/placement team,
as appropriate, to identify marketing strategy and candidate generating activities.
Works closely with the interim leadership and advisory services search/placement
executive team to complete candidate profiles and references in preparation to present
interim leadership candidates to clients.
Exercises independent judgment to rule potential interim leaders in or out based on the
outcome of reference checks and initial screening for a given opportunity.
Contacts prospective candidates for specific interim leadership and advisory services job
openings or to build the candidate pipeline.
Classifies and categorizes candidates.
Conducts roll off calls with the interim leaders and advisors at the completion of an
Coordinates appropriate candidate follow up and maintains process of available
candidates for interim/advisory services in applicant tracking system.
Generates new business by impressing candidates and those serving as their references
with the operational excellence and professionalism of B. E. Smith.
Builds relationships with both colleagues and candidates.
Adheres to the interim leadership and advisory services search/placement team
processes and seeks guidance as needed.
Utilizes CRM and Bullhorn, as well as any other company and/or department software.
Participates in executive, management, and company staff meetings and attends other
meetings and seminars, as appropriate.
Performs all other duties and special projects as assigned.
