NTT DATA, Inc. currently seeks a Software Quality Assurance - QA to join our team in Carlsbad, CA.
Day to Day job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis)
This is a hands-on Software Quality Assurance position that will be responsible for the testing and quality of ERP systems. The candidate for this position will work in an Agile or Waterfall environment with development, Project Management and multiple Business partners and will be responsible for design, development and execution of test plans and test cases for a project related to SAP. The job will also include, collaborating with the Agile or Waterfall development team, test planning, manual and automation testing, defect logging/verification, and review of requirements and use-cases. The role will lead the effort to build new test frameworks and or extend existing frameworks. The role promotes QA productivity through automation, tools, and other best practices.
Ability to hit the ground running, work independently and take full ownership of all testing deliverables from day one.
Conduct workshops for defining scope, end to end scenarios with various workstream business leads.
Drive towards formulating a robust test plan and guide the project team in achieving the objectives as set in the test plan.
Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required to this job with minimum years of experience on each)
Expert usage of HP ALM. Minimu of 3 years
Experience of working in ERP is essential to be considered for this role. Minimum of 3 years
Should have hands on experience of uploading requirements, test cases, building trace matrix, test execution and defect management processes.
Experience of working in regulatory controlled process is essential to be considered for this role
Possess sound knowledge around supply chain and distribution processes.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder level communication skills.
Ability to report testing progress precisely and concisely to senior management on a day to day basis.
Strong manual and automation testing skills
Travel: Need locals
Nice to Have: Any experience of working in Life Sciences industry will be beneficial .
