Idaho National Laboratory (INL) is seeking a MFA Technician. The responsibilities will include Client Software and Driver Management:
VAS/QAS/DAS (Dell Authentication Services, Linux) installation scripts for various Linux distributions for integration with Active Directory.
Smart card integration with QAS on the various Linux distributions.
Ensure current and compatible smart card readers and drivers are available.
System configuration policies development & management, analogous to Windows Group Policy Objects.
Centrify (Apple & Linux)
installation scripts for various Apple distributions for integration with Active Directory.
Smart card integration with Centrify on the various Apple distributions.
Ensure current and compatible smart card readers and drivers are available.
System configuration policies development & management, analogous to Windows Group Policy Objects.
HID ActivClient (Windows and other platforms, as required)
Develop and maintain installation packages for current version of ActivClient middleware, including patches/hotfixes/etc.
Integrate ActivClient with other products such as Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office to ensure all HSPD-12 smart card functionality is available, e.g. digital signatures, beyond just system authentication.

Credential support and management:
Customer support and troubleshooting for smart card related authentication issues.
Smart card reader management - compatibility testing, deployment and replacement
HSPD-12/PIV alternative smart card lifecycle management for Logical Access Credential (LAC)
Produce LACs for new hires, foreign nationals, and other specific use cases warranting a smart card other than the HSPD-12/PIV.
Monitor and coordinate issuance and retrieval of LAC vis-a-vis HSPD-12/PIV credentials. Typically, users should not have both credentials simultaneously.
Associate smart card to user and user's various information system accounts including primary "standard" and secondary accounts.
For all INL approved HSPD-12/PIV alternatives, i.e. LAC or Local Site-Specific Only smart cards known as "chipped LSSO":
Ensure alternative credential compatibility with standard INL information systems
Manage integration with various platforms and applications.
Support IM management of person and associated credential data in systems such as Active Directory, Enterprise Directory, HR databases, etc.
Knowledge Base Management
Develop and maintain documentation providing integration and troubleshooting support for known issues, platforms and applications.
Provide subject matter expertise for various INL business processes and organizations to assist integration of smart card functionality.
Minimum Qualification Requirements (Education and/or Experience):
Must have at least a High School Diploma or Equivalent plus 4 years experience in related field.
Must demonstrate skills in Identity and Access Management tools and techniques.
Must demonstrate knowledge using PIV cards for authentication to computers through Active Directory.
Must demonstrate knowledge using ActivClient.
Must demonstrate knowledge creating knowledge base articles.
Must demonstrate knowledge of Mac, Linux and Windows computing platforms.
