Summary / DescriptionWe are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer service oriented IT System Security / Security Lead to join our team in Springfield, VA to begin an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems.
IT System Security / Security Lead will be responsible for the accreditation process by auto-generating documentation such as configuration change report, security access audit reports; Accelerate accreditation and mitigate false positives by automating analysis of vulnerability scans against established baselines for standard OIT standard configurations (Accenture accelerator). Self-service certificate management and automated provisioning and deployment (saves 1000’s of hours across 6000+ servers currently under EDMED management, reducing time to deliver services and reducing human error)IT System Security / Security Lead will be responsible the ISSOs run reports in anticipation of monthly and Ad-hoc vulnerability scans provided by the ST&E group. Our ISSOs will automate the returned reports and weed out false positives so we only have to deal with the actual weaknesses that are found, reducing waste in POA&M remediation for issues that are not actual weaknesses. Use platform type-accreditation to assume common application features into the infrastructure baseline. The IT System Security / Security Lead is primarily responsible for maintaining the security architecture, ensuring that meets the business requirements and performance goals of. - Provide ongoing security expertise for technology support delivery; including risk assessment performance and documentation. - Development of procedures to safeguard information and computer files. - Develop plans to safeguard computer files against accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure and to meet emergency data processing needs- Document computer security and emergency measures policies, procedures, and tests Confer with users to discuss issues such as computer data access needs, security violations, and programming changes - Coordinate implementation of computer system security plan with Client Monitor use of data files and regulate access to safeguard information in computer files Perform risk assessments and execute tests of data processing system to ensure functioning of data processing activities and security.
