Presidio Managed Services has an opening for a Business Development Executive in our North Central Region. This individual will be responsible for identify, marketing, penetrating, and selling our information technology Managed Services solutions / ITO to top companies in the North Central territory. We are actively searching for an individual who has proven C-Level, B2B selling and relationship building experience information technology Managed Services. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of a long sales cycle, a proven ability to build high level relationships with key decision makers and a desire to continually prospect ( Sales-Hunter") for new Business. The Business Development Executive of Managed Services position will be 100% accountable to build new sales opportunities that have the necessary long-term contract commitment that is required to achieve company goals and objectives. This role requires 75% travel.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement sales activities for creating, identify, qualifying, developing and closing managed services opportunities to meet target quotas.
Create and Executive strategic account / call plans for identified target accounts.
Conduct sales presentations in person and/or via teleconference/web-based meetings to customers about Presidio service capabilities.
Generate price quotes and proposals for managed services opportunities and participate in the response of Request for Proposals (RFP), Request for Quotations (RFQ), and Request for Information (RFI), etc.
Provide weekly forecast and call reports to management.
* Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Management or a related field, or equivalent work/military experience
* 5 or more years of IT sales experience
* Experience working with vendors and business partners
* Advanced verbal and written communication skills
* Knowledge of Network and Data Center technologies (Cisco, EMC, NetApp, VMware)
* Managed Services / ITO experience
* Strong IT background in Advanced Technologies
