Job Description:

The Senior Investment Operations Associate performs a variety of administrative and operational duties, within the Investment Operations department reporting to a manager.   The department is primarily responsible for critical investment data set up and support on the Retirement recordkeeping system, including Mutual Funds, Corporate Stocks, COLI and Proprietary funds. The department is part of Retirement Financial Operations and functions performed include but not limited to:

  • Investment setup and on-going maintenance on recordkeeping system

  • Nightly pricing & verification of a variety of investments

  • Initiate and generate pre “nightly cycle” participant trading activities

  • Dividend tracking and administration

  • Perform Corporate Actions such as name changes, merger, stock splits,

  • Monitoring and updating accounting records

  • Interest Rate resets / updates for Guaranteed Products

  • Review and creation of various reports e.g. performance report, metrics

  • Undergraduate degree in related field and/or relevant work experience 

  • Experience in and knowledge of Excel, or other spreadsheet/database applications and Microsoft Word is preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Effectively use all applicable systems applications and processes to complete assigned operational tasks

  • Superior organizational skills, detail oriented, and strong follow-through with a motivation to expand knowledge, skills and responsibility 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and interact effectively with team members and other internal/external partners

  • Ability to work under time constraints

  • Strong financial acumen and analytic skills 

  • Knowledge of finance, accounting and brokerage related field is preferred. 

  • Ability to manage and prioritize projects and take an active role in problem solving/decision making 

  • Capable of working on projects in conjunction with daily responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains integrity of policies and procedures

Other Requirements:
Core hours for rotational shift:

  • 7:00 AM to 3:10PM

  • 9:00 AM to 5:10 PM

  • 12:PM to 8:10 PM

  • Individual must be flexible with regards to shifts

  • Paid Shift Differential for late shift

  • Overtime is required at peak times (Month End, Quarter End, Year End,) or as needed
