The Quality Control Tester & Documenter conducts a quality review of new and modified software application changes that are used within a large scale automated system using a structured user acceptance and quality assurance testing methodology.
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/job related experience, AND
0-24 months experience in Software quality control or user acceptance testing
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Visio
System documentation skills: Ability to use standard MS Word template to document changes to screens, automated processes, user help screens, legal documents and letter templates
Strong analytical skills
Ability to handle multiple assignments within strict deadlines
Excellent oral, written, interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work in a secure environment containing sensitive customer information
- Ability to work under federal and state security rules and regulations
Advertised Physical Requirements:
- Ability to engage in repetitive motions including movements of the fingers, hands and wrists. Finger dexterity required Ability to hear including receiving detailed information orally Ability to speak including expressing oneself or exchanging information with others
Strong preference for applicants with at least a Bachelor's degree
Experience working with subject matter experts to document application (software) changes.
- Experience with team projects and process improvement projects
Supervision: No Supervisory Duties
