Account Executive -- Outside Sales


Responsibilities include meeting with clients and responding to all advertising customers in a professional, courteous manner. Work with customers to achieve desired results through proper ad placement, ad design, and upsell techniques. Essential to the position: respond to customer inquiries, solicitation of new business. 


Applicants must have excellent phone skills, superior customer service and problem solving techniques. Candidate is expected to be detail-oriented, with strong attention to accuracy a must. Must have excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills. 

Qualified candidate must possess friendly, business-like traits, with the ability to take a sensitive, yet firm and courteous, professional approach with customers via phone and in person. Will be expected to maintain a broad working knowledge of advertising products. Accurate, proficient keyboarding skills are absolutely essential. Must enjoy working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented atmosphere. Will be expected to be a self-starter with a great attitude who has the ability to be flexible, performing the job alone as well as in a team environment. Background check and valid 

driver's license required. 

Desired Experience: 

Proven previous experience working in a sales environment. 


8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. 


Commensurate with experience. Commission plan included.
