Position description

Provides pharmaceutical care in coordination with other health care professionals to deliver safe, appropriate and cost effective drug therapy to patients.


Minimum education required is a B.S. in pharmacy with 2 years work experience or a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.

Additional qualifications

An advanced degree (MS, PharmD) or residency is preferred. Experience in inpatient or outpatient pharmacy practice is preferred. Board Certification by the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties is preferred. Previous experience in applicable specialty practice area is preferred.

License or certification

Eligible for licensure by the Florida Board of Pharmacy. BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.

Schedule details

This full-time position is for 10 shifts per 2-week pay period. Schedule is for day shift and swing shift rotation. This position will extend the hours of scheduled direct supervision for sterile compounding activities. Shifts are typically 8.5 hours long. Day shifts are planned to start between 5:30 - 7:00 am and swing shifts to start between 10:00 - 11:30 am.

Weekend schedule

Weekend shift rotation, currently every 3rd weekend.
