In the role of Principal Consultant, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Location for this position is Baltimore, MD.

Qualifications Basic
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.


  • 6-8 years of project management experience

  • Proficient in SQL

  • ETL knowledge and experience in executing BI (Business Intelligence) projects using any ETL tool

  • Experience in Reporting tool, OBIEE is preferable

  • Project Management experience in Support projects

  • Proficient in process areas of executing Support projects as Incident Management, Problem Management, Root Cause Analysis, Trending reports and analysis, Risk Management, etc

  • Good communication skills

  • Experience working in Global Delivery Model and interfacing with Customers


  • Single point of contact for Service Delivery from onsite for customer

  • Project Tracking and Status Reporting

  • Monitor risks and issues and facilitate risk mitigation, escalation

  • Manages scope for minor enhancements, identifies and resolves customer’s concerns

  • Balances scope with the need to meet Exelon’s expectations

  • Preparation of status reports with incident trends adhering to SLAs

  • Ensure optimal engagement planning, thought leadership and effective communication

  • Performance measurement and tracking and focus on continuous improvement

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
