The Partner Manager plays a critical role in relationship management with identifying opportunities to collaborate, grow and retain a partner's accounts & implement new opportunities. Candidate should effectively build strong relationships to ensure that Oath is a vital component in their digital media packages sold to end clients. The Partner Manager should be an expert on search optimization best practices, business development, client acquisition and tactics on how to expand the Oath product offering - all of which can lead to additional spend attributed to Oath.

Your Day

  • Partner Manager will own a set of high value partner accounts and ensures it performs to revenue targets and strategic goals

  • Tactical account management of a book of business of assigned partners

  • Find opportunities to drive revenue by collaborating with partner teams thru analysis, optimizations and product/API developments that will produce better efficiency and performance

  • Prepare and deliver Quarterly Business Reviews and regularly scheduled conference calls

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of partner's business, including performance metrics & goals, product & technology offerings, along with channel sales efforts, and deliver insights to meet those needs

  • Knowledge of Product/API capabilities to identify issues, enhancements and opportunities

  • Maintain working knowledge of current partner contracts and opportunities to expand to new agreements

  • Handle financial escalations and drive resolution

  • Maintain a working knowledge of the SMB/Local marketplace and marketing industry insights & innovations

  • Identify sales and marketing programs to drive revenue and complete detailed business justification

You Must Have

  • Ability to independently identify, analyze and resolve partner and business related trends

  • Ability to establish collaborative working environment with partners through relationship management

  • Ability to cross sell and up sell search, native and/or display and related products

  • Ability to work well under pressure

  • Strong understanding of marketing and advertising with particular focus on search, native and display.

  • Technical understanding of digital marketing ad platforms and API solutions

  • Promote change amongst peers and senior management

  • Outstanding verbal, presentation & written communication skills directed to day to day contacts & up to C-level executives

  • Completes research within the industry to be viewed as a subject matter expert in digital advertising

  • Demonstrated success working in a cross-functional environment

  • Experience working with Yahoo!, Google, Facebook and other relevant search engine toolsets

  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

  • Effective project management skills to manage multiple projects with varying priorities

  • Strong business development and contract negotiation skills

  • Demonstrated success working in a cross-functional environment

  • Experience servicing and/or consulting in a vendor/client relationship

  • BA/BS degree in either business or marketing or equivalent experience

  • Willingness to travel
