The Email Marketing and Automation Advisor will contribute to the ongoing deployment of the Companys digital marketing strategy, reporting to the Manager, Digital Marketing with the day-to-day deliverables. This role will focus on generating qualified leads, managing and growing the email marketing and automation programs, designing and developing multichannel campaigns, optimizing the user experience, and ensuring best practices are followed.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and grow the email marketing and automation program to generate and nurture leads, using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
Create emails, develop and test journeys, authenticate lists and finalize for launch.
Employ best practices to engage prospects and customers for increased MQL conversions, working closely with entire Marketing team.
Use Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Salesforce (SFDC), Google Analytics and other third-party tools to analyze results and understand effectiveness of email marketing programs and campaigns, including creating ad hoc and recurring reports.
Work closely with IT team to ensure tools are integrated and functioning optimally. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS degree required.
5 years of relevant experience in an email marketing or digital marketing role.
Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) or other relevant email marketing automation tool, Salesforce.com (SFDC), and Google Analytics.
Proven experience in executing successful digital campaigns designed to support lead generation that either met or exceeded established goals.
Strong collaborative work with IT teams to troubleshoot and optimize digital platforms
Clear and deliberate in documenting and communicating processes among team and constituents.
Experience gathering and reporting metrics on marketing effort effectiveness.
Thorough understanding of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) optimization.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Dreamweaver, HTML and CSS.
Travel requirement: less than 10%.
Certified in any of the following: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, HubSpot Inbound Marketing, HubSpot Email Marketing, Google Analytics or Google AdWords.
Website design and development experience.
Strong writing, proofing and communications skills.
