The successful candidate will have at least three years of experience in community development, health professions education, and training, or provision of health systems related technical assistance.

Fiscal Year - FT Contract

POSITION FUNCTION

Provide programmatic and administrative leadership of the Northeast Indiana Area Health Education Center.

MINIMUM EDUCATION

Master s degree from an accredited institution in health/medical field, health care planning or policy, education, business, or related area.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

At least three years of experience in community development, health professions education and training, or provision of health systems related technical assistance.

MINIMUM OTHER

Knowledge of the theory and practice of public health and understanding of assessment and evaluation activities.

Ability to work collegially and collaboratively with diverse internal and external audiences.

Ability to assemble, analyze, and present data; ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks accurately.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning, teambuilding, and problem solving skills.

Possess and maintain a valid driver s license and be insurable under the university s auto fleet policy.

AUTHORIZATION TO WORK IN THE US

PREFERRED EDUCATION

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Experience writing and managing grants; experience in the development, delivery, and evaluation of healthcare related educational programs; experience building coalitions and partnerships; work experience in rural health care systems.

PREFERRED OTHER

Familiarity with the communities of the Northeast Indiana AHEC region.
