The ProMedica Monroe Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center is an 89 bed facility that specializes in short-term skilled nursing and post hospital rehabilitation due to physical limitations or chronic conditions. Our facility is located down the road from the ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital, so our patients always have access to acute hospital care and emergency services as needed.
Our 3,200 square foot space was newly renovated to include 30 private rooms including two bariatric private rooms, all with bathroom and shower, an elegant dining room and an enclosed four season porch. We've also added a new 2,100 square foot, state-of-the-art rehab gym!
Under close supervision of a licensed nurse, and according to established policies, procedures, and specific instructions of nursing staff, the CNA will perform a variety of basic patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Job Requirements
* High school education or equivalent level of knowledge to read, write, and perform simple arithmetic calculations. Must be able to follow routine written and/or verbal instructions.
* Completion of a nursing assistance training program or six months to one-year previous experience.
* One to four weeks of on-the-job training at ProMedica Skilled Nursing and Rehab in order to become familiar with job duties, the work area, policies and procedures, and the like.
* Must be licensed in Michigan as a Certified Nurse Aide
