Job Description:

Administrative Assistant (Clinical)

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Clinical Administration Manager in assisting with the coordination of administrative tasks which will contribute to providing operational support. He/she will interpret operating policies and exercise independent judgment in the resolution of administrative problems. Will also facilitate completion of reports and serve as liaison with the clinical staff, perform special projects, and respond to queries regarding complex issues and information.

RESPONSIBILITIES

*

Update/maintain database information used for reporting while using high attention to detail
*

Follow unit operating practices such as record keeping systems, forms control, office layout, and personnel requirements
*

Provide customer satisfaction scores to management and marketing based on surveys provided each month
*

Track employee performance
*

Assist with updating physician licensure spreadsheet
*

Perform clerical duties such as faxing, scanning, copying, filing as needed
*

Support clinical department managers and other departments with needs and requests
*

Identify department trends and provide information, feedback, and suggestions for improvement
*

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

*

High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED); or equivalent experience
*

Knowledge of office administration, record keeping systems, effective scheduling and administrative support services
*

Strong verbal and written communication skills; with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse constituents in a team environment
*

Basic knowledge of general administrative office support skills
*

Excellent organizational skills, analytical and problem solving abilities, and attention to detail.
*

Ability to work with little to no direction, prioritize own work and to work with flexibility on several tasks simultaneously in order to meet various concurrent deadlines
*

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
