The Practice Manager oversees the operational and administrative functions, activities, and projects of one or more ambulatory health centers. The manager ensures quality healthcare services, staff productivity, and optimal customer service. The position is responsible for managing the operations of several service departments (e.g., radiology, laboratory, physician services, medical records, security, and house-keeping) and acting as first-line responder for Information and telecommunication system failures/interruptions.

Job Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or management role in an ambulatory health setting required.
*

Thorough knowledge of outpatient health care administration, including all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
*

Thorough knowledge of all applicable regulatory agencies, applicable state and federal law and health care Environment of Care standards.
*

Knowledge of electronic health records systems and their implementation in an outpatient services organization - previous use of EPIC system preferred.
*

Ability to manage complex outpatient care delivery systems.
*

Ability to effectively communicate the values of the organization, to handle confidential information, and to exemplify strong interpersonal skills.
*

Proven exceptional leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
*

Ability to prepare and analyze financial information and reports.
*

Ability to communicate clearly and interact comfortably with a diverse group of clients and staff in a professional and sensitive manner.
*

Computer proficient with capacity to learn software programs and access/utilize electronic communications.
*

Demonstrates continued professional growth and development through participation in educational and in-service training programs for professional staff.
*

Current LVN license preferred.
*

Bachelor's degree in Health Administration preferred.
