Our northern Utah facility serves a large community with our variety of services including: a cancer treatment center, women's services, cardiology services, and an alcohol and chemical dependency treatment center as well as many others. Ogden Regional is at the heart of the mountains with over six ski resorts within an hour's drive. There is also a great downtown area with restaurants and shops to satisfy all tastes. POSITION TITLE(S): Registered Nurse (Full Time)
UNIT ASSIGNMENT: Alcohol Chemical Treatment Unit (ACT)
WORK SCHEDULES: Part Time - (24 hours = 2/12 hour shifts)
*Nights (5 p.m. - 5 a.m.) with rotating weekends

*Under the direction of a Registered Nurse Manager, the RN delivers direct physical and psycho-social care to patients through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation.
*The RN effectively interacts with patients, significant others and all health team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
The RN communicates the elements of the nursing process to improve patient outcomes, provide quality intervention and promote collaboration within the health team.
EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:
* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required) (BSN preferred)
* UTAH RN License in this state (required)
* American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider (required)
* Must also quality for CPI training. (within 30 days of hire)
* 1 year experience in chemical dependency/psychiatric setting or a strong desire to learn skills associated with this field.
