POSITION SUMMARY:
The Administrative Assistant will function in a strategic position that will support our division leadership and the overall operations of our family of physician practices. The Assistant helps manage all office activity and drives organization and productivity for our offices.

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

* Provides administrative support including typing, composing and proofreading correspondence, indexing and filing documents.

* Answers inquires or refers callers/visitors to appropriate individuals.

* Compiles reports from data and existing records.

* Gathers information and develops summaries as requested.

* Assists with development and implementations of budget and operational plans.

* Develops and implements office procedures related to coordination and interoffice communication, records, system.

* Ensures adequacy of office supplies and equipment.

* Schedules/coordinates meetings, appointments, make travel arrangements.

* Assists other staff as requested.

* Participates in educational activities and programs.

* Maintains strictest confidentiality.

* Performs related work as required.

* Maintain appointment calendars as needed.

* Practice and adhere to the "Code of Conduct" philosophy and "Mission and Value Statement".

EDUCATION:

* High School Graduate or GED preferred

* Associate degree in business administrative is strongly preferred.

* Additional appropriate education may be substituted for administrative experience.



EXPERIENCE:

* 3 to 7 years of administrative experience

* Experience in a health care organization is preferred.

* Additional appropriate education may be substituted for administrative experience.

CERTIFICATE/LICENSE: None. Certified Administrative Professional or Organizational Management Certificate is preferred.
