JOB OVERVIEW
The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences (Ob/Gyn u0026 RS), Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital (ZSFGH) Division is seeking a Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant for several phase III female contraceptive clinical trials. The Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant will perform general physical and pelvic exams and reproductive standard health assessments (i.e. pap smear, cervical swab) following study protocol as well as maintain patient/participant study charts. The Practitioner will be trained in the specialized study exams that will be performed at screening, enrollment, and follow-up visits. He/she will work closely with the Research Study Coordinator and Director of Research Operations to coordinate patient and study logistics and fulfill the protocol requirements for multiple studies.

Required Qualifications: tGraduation from a MEPN, \\"advanced practice nurse\\", or other Nurse Practitioner program, or Physician Assistant program or Certified Nurse Midwifery program
tPossessing a current license or awaiting California licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
tPossession of the legal requirements to practice as a Registered Nurse as determined by the California Board of Registered Nursing
tBRN license as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of California
tCertificate of completion from a college or university-based Nurse Practitioner program
tCurrent CPR certification
tSuccessful completion of the credentialing process
tExpertise and interest in family planning and reproductive health services

Preferred Qualifications: tMinimum one year providing reproductive health services
tKnowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines
tKnowledge of ethical and research regulations
