10:30 AM - 7:00 PM NO CALL

Position Summary:
Collaborates with physician and Registered Nurses to serve in support role within OR. Responsible for supplies, instrumentation and equipment needed for surgical cases for infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Proficient in surgical environment as surgical assistant passing instruments and assisting the physician during surgical cases.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
-High School graduate or GED certificate
-At least two (2) years experience in scrubbing; Ortho experience

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:
-Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology, or a hospital or military training program.
-Must be certified or obtained a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification within 6 months of hire by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), formerly the Liaison Council on Certification for the Surgical Technologist (LCC-ST).
-Current Basic Life Support (BLS) via American Heart Association.
