The Audio Solutions Group is seeking a senior-level Applications Engineer to actively drive design-ins at tier one Mobile customers. You will work within the System Engineering Group, and across a multi-faceted team equipped with the knowledge required to create complete audio solutions, including aspects of acoustical, algorithms, electrical, industrial, mechanical, and software engineering.

In addition to driving customer design-ins, you will also have the opportunity to mold and shape the direction of the team, with responsibilities ranging from tuning of audio systems, system level design, automated bench validation, and consumer electronic trade shows.

Minimum Qualifications


BSEE/MSEE and 5+ years of relevant work experience

Strong fundamental electrical and analytical skills

Experience in audio tuning of portable consumer products

Methodical approach to debugging electronics systems

Experience with domain centric test equipment (i.e. Audio Precision, NTi, HATS)

Experience with lab equipment (i.e., oscilloscopes, power supplies, DMMs)

Ability to self-manage, manage others, and meet deadlines both independently, and within a cross-functional team

Prior experience working on multidisciplinary projects.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications


Familiar with LRA and Piezo technologies used for Haptic solutions

Passion for Audio or Music

Familiar with Integrated Circuit development process

Familiar with Printed Circuit Board development

Familiar with mechanical design and fabrication using CorelDraw, Geomagic design, and 3D printers * Familiar with programming languages such as C, C#, C++, or Visual Basic
