HII-TSD, Integrated Mission Solutions Group (Camber Corporation) is currently seeking a Data Manager to work at the Air Force Agency of Modeling and Simulation (AFAMS) office in Orlando, FL.
This position will be supporting AFAMS in its mission to stand-up a data management program to include the strategy, architecture, plans and processes.
Duties and Responsibilities (t o include but not be limited to the following):
Assist the Agency in the development of a Data Strategy and Data Management Plan that aligns with higher echelons’ overarching strategies.
Develop data standards, policies, data service specifications, service level agreements, data governance and metrics, and other documentation to guide in managing the Agency’s enterprise data management program.
Assist in developing the Agency’s data architecture to support enterprise information sharing and mission-based outcomes.
Support functional work to identify and make use of the services developed.
Collaborate and participate in activities to ensure knowledge creation/sharing and integration.
Ensure that all technical designs are compliant with the Data Strategy and Data Management Plan, to include the development of conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems Engineering or related IT degree.
10 plus years of experience in three or more of the following areas:legacy data migration, logical data modeling, physical data modeling, master data management, data sharing and integration, and data strategy and planning.
Strong experience in requirements definition, hands-on data analysis, and analysis of alternatives.
Strong experience in developing data strategy and planning documentation to include data quality, master data management, and data governance.
Working knowledge of data modeling tools such as Enterprise Architect, ER Studio, and MagicDraw.
Demonstrated proficiency with staffing, planning, reporting, and collaboration (decision makers, engineers, mission owners, etc.).
Strong oral and written communication skills.
MS in Computer Systems Engineering or related IT degree
Certification as a Data Management Professional (CDMP) from DAMA
Knowledge of current Department of Defense enterprise architecture approaches, designs, methodologies, and evaluation practices, and their applicability to Agency policy, standards, technical specifications, and culture.
Experience working across organizations to achieve integration and governance for improved enterprise-wide data management and information sharing.
Working knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as DoDAF, TOGAF, and FEAF.

All candidates must be eligible for (and maintain) a Department of Defense Secret clearance.
