Conducts and coordinates difficult and technical assignments; advises on technical problems and may plan and review work of professional engineers and technicians; may make recommendations concerning selection, training and remuneration of staff. Individual contributor with comprehensive knowledge in specific area; ability to execute highly complex or specialized projects.
Function Specific Activities:
Work with the agile development team to understand system requirements and deliver CICD systems and supporting infrastructure
Provide estimates and deliver solutions on time
Communicate effectively with the scrum master and program manager
Propose modern approaches and changes to workflows and infrastructure
Integrate new hardware devices into the operating system.
Troubleshoot build and release management issues
Work with the operations team to deploy new software and troubleshoot operational issues
Help to secure the fleet using authentication and encryption protocols
4-year degree in EE, Computer Science, or similar
At least 5 years of proven development experience.
Team player with good communication skills.
Required skills are Linux, Jenkins or Go, Maven, Nexus, Maven, Amazon Web Services (S3, Lambda, IAM, EC2), Java, Python, bash, encryption basics, gcc, package management
Nice to have skills include buildroot and Yocto
Bachelors Degree or University (Required), Masters Degree or Post Graduate
