Currently we are looking for an Inside Sales Representative to work closely and pro-actively with OEM Sales to form and maintain strong relationships with key customers, provide service and support for pricing and quoting to external channels and new business development activities, as part of the sales team in Chicago. In this position you will work with cross-functional teams and resources across the company to ensure world class customer service is achieved.

About the job:

  • Prepare and maintain price tables for direct customers and keep all pricing updated and current in SAP; conduct annual (at minimum) price reviews for all quoted customers

  • Support operations in providing known customer forecast information as well as analyzing and coordinating stocking agreements with key accounts as needed

  • Assist the Customer Support Representative and finance teams to provide price analysis for all price disputes with customers so that they can be quickly identified and resolved

  • Prepare and send out weekly, monthly, quarterly and special (as needed) sales reports to sales managers as well as participate in territory quarterly business reviews with sales manager

  • Provide sales service and support to customers in the form of product selection support, quotes, sales leads, special customer requests, literature requests and samples requests

  • Work with sales manager to analyze strategic accounts focusing on product sales history, product where used/applications, buying trends, customer locations, key contacts and account potential

  • Analyze sales and cost data and prepare reports as needed for internal and customer meetings

About you:

  • Bachelor degree in business or marketing.

  • Experience in Customer Service, Inside Sales or Sales desired.

  • Strong oral and written communication, facilitation skills.

  • Strong analytical attitude, problem solving and decision-making skills.

  • Strong command of Microsoft Office.

  • Proactively seek out opportunities for improvement and take the initiative on implementing improvement processes.

  • Holding self-accountable for completing assignments/projects at a high-quality level and on time.

  • Team Player, sharing knowledge and best-practice discoveries.

  • Flexible with strong organizational skills.

Beneficial skills:

  • Prior SAP knowledge.
