Interested in working with youth ages, 16-25 in our year round, open enrollment program. Engages students with hands on and applied career and technical lessons embedded into instruction. Facilitates and coaches students on workplace standards. Models exceptional workplace ethics and acts as a role model for students. Provides supervision and management within the classroom and on center. Shows respect and courtesy to students and staff at all times. Must meet and/or exceed the Department of Labor and company performance goals are met to ensure student success in program. Maintains integrity and follows procedures. Collaboration with career and technical training staff and act as part of a team in the education and training department as well as all center staff. May be responsible to train students in third party credentials such as first aid/CPR, blood borne pathogens, HIPPA, ServSafe Food Handler. Responsible for the career placement of students for up to one year from the student’s graduation. RN or LPN, but must have minimum one year of Skilled Nursing Facility experience.
A minimum of one year experience in teaching or related field required.
Certified, licensed, or accredited in the state in which the center is located, or is accredited by a professional trade organization.
Previous Job Corps experience preferred.
Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching.
Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and/or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance. (Depending upon trade)
