Prudential Retirement is seeking an Accounting Associate for the Reimbursement and Reconciliation team.  As a new addition to the team, you will be responsible for the timely reconciliation of clients? records against Prudential?s records to support the incoming and/or outgoing payments while fostering a positive client experience.


Responsibilities include:

  • Reconcile clients? data files with Prudential?s records for accuracy and to identify and investigate discrepancies

  • Initiate and/or verify timely payments

  • Communicate discrepancies and questions to clients in an understandable language and format to obtain resolution

  • Manage the team?s mailbox to review request to handle, assign, or redirect as appropriate

  • Collaborate with internal business partners

  • Mentor other team members that may include training and review/approval of work

  • Active participation in audits, special projects, and responds to ad hoc requests as required

  • Review and update team?s Standard Operating Procedures

  • Agile with the ability to adapt to a changing environment and priorities

  • Flexible to work overtime when required

  • Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Business-related field preferred

  • 1 year of work experience in an accounting, reconciliation and/or research related function

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, with intermediate proficiency in Excel

  • Organization skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight time constraints

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Attention to detail and possesses the ability to work through ambiguity

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
