Job Description:
The Marketing Associate will be a member of the Global Marketing Communications team responsible for marketing Nasdaq's Listing Services offering within the broader Corporate Services business unit. Key elements of the role include managing campaign development and execution, managing advertising media partnerships, and interacting with Nasdaq-listed clients and prospects to support co-branded visibility.

About the Nasdaq MarketSite:
The Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square encompasses our seven-story Nasdaq Tower digital billboard, and two broadcast studios that host the Nasdaq Opening and Closing Bell Ceremonies, live television broadcasts, and onsite events. The Marketing Associate will be based in this facility, working alongside New York-based team members of Listing Services team, as well as Global Marketing and Communications colleagues who support this team.
  • Understanding of marketing concepts and creative process, and ability to work with internal and external agencies
  • Understanding of social media platforms
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken)
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency or interest in marketing automation applications, preferably Eloqua, for email communications management and distribution application
  • Able to execute high-profile marketing plans and track their success
  • Proficiency or interest in marketing media, and ability to manage media budgets and track invoicing for Nasdaq marketing agencies, media vendors and other suppliers. Background or interest in digital marketing and print advertising is a plus
  • Able to handle multiple, time-sensitive projects simultaneously and prioritize projects based on business partner and leadership team objectives
  • Essential Job Functions:
  • Marketing support to the global Listing Services team within the Corporate Services business unit. Interact with sales and client relationship management business partners in global Nasdaq offices including New York, San Francisco, London and Stockholm
  • Execute marketing and communications plans for assigned projects, products or services from inception through completion
  • Offer creative input for internal clients and Nasdaq-listed clients - in line with budgets and target markets
  • Build and deploy email communications and campaigns to Nasdaq-listed prospects and clients, and relevant corporate services audiences using the company's marketing automation system
  • Think outside the box when executing marketing and sales programs through channels such as digital and print advertising, OOH advertising, and other channels. Role should have an interest in advertising media (specifically: online and print)
  • Develop campaign reports and analyze and interpret campaign metrics, recommending corrective action and ensuring continuous improvement and effectiveness
  • Work with agencies and in-house creative team to execute projects
  • Manage budgets for client projects and advertising media vendors and publishers. Handle procurement and invoice processing for these relationships. Work with finance team to forecast budgets and manage our spend
  • Help market Nasdaq's co-branded visibility services to clients by creating and supporting integrated Nasdaq campaigns
  • Develop and maintain marketing content that elevates key Nasdaq executives and listings objectives for distribution across our digital channels. Create and maintain editorial calendars that align with other marketing communications campaigns for Corporate Services audiences
  • Develop strategic plans for sector-based or audience-specific strategies, working closely with Corporate Services marketing team
  • Manage all social media content supporting Listing Services initiatives
  • Ability to multi-task, develop marketing project timelines (from start to finish) with capability to see obstacles early and provide solutions. Ensure timely implementation and delivery of all materials necessary to support all companywide initiatives
  • Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or English
  • Experience Required: 1 year
