Description

To learn Emerson processes at theCorporate level in order to be more effective as a Human Resources professionalin the field. To gain valuable Human Resources experiences in many areas, includingEmployee Relations, Compensation, Safety, Benefits, and Training andDevelopment.

 Responsibilities

  • Participate in various benefit projects and new program rollouts to Emerson businesses

  • Coordinate and work with outside advisors in relation to various projects across the Benefits department

  • Organize and monitor mandatory benefits compliance across Emerson’s US-based businesses

  • Assist in all aspects of mergers and acquisition process, including:


    • Collecting and analyzing all HR and benefits data, 

    • Organizing responses to diligence questions,

    • Preparing reports on findings for senior management, and

    • Assisting HR leaders with acquisition integration or divestiture carve-out activities.


  • Support the development and editing of presentations and communications for meetings and events


 Additional Information
  • Position will require 20% travel, both domestic and international.

Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Human Resources 

  • 1-3 years of related work experience

  • Masters Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred

  • Must possess strong math, analytical and writing skills.

  • Must be able to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization.

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint required.

  • Experience in database management preferred.

  • Ability to relocate after successful completion of assignment required.
