As a member of a team comprised of senior or principal consultants you will provide in depth knowledge involving network architecture, planning, design, operations and operational issue resolution for our clients.As a team member of AT&T Consulting it is crucial have an in depth technical skills in current networking strategies and are also focused on developing the skills required for next generation networks (SDN, SDDC, and Cloud).  In addition, knowledge and skills in Unified Services, Unified Communications, Security (network and policy) and IT service management are essential.Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for consulting project activities through the lifecycle of the engagement. 
  • Fulfills billable consulting service projects.
  • Acts as the network subject matter expert.
  • Ability to work independently on an engagement or as a team member on a larger engagement team.
  • Work with diverse client teams to successfully deliver the objectives of the assigned engagement.
  • Provide technical expertise including problem identification, system architecture definition, hardware/software specification and/or design, implementation, testing, client training, and deployment.
  • Ability and desire to be a subject matter mentor or coach.
  • Engagement delivery management in coordination with the overarching Consulting Engagement Manager.
  • Creates recommendation and implements new methods, techniques and /or procedures
  • Possesses and maintains strong communication, collaboration, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to support sales efforts and teams and other areas of AT&T business area as needed.
  • Actively acquires and maintains certifications, develops new capabilities through self-development and completes mandatory AT&T training on time.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • 5 to 8 years of relevant hands on experience in networking
  • 5 or more years of consultation experience in network architecture, planning and design
  • Strong communication, collaboration, writing and presentation skills
  • Ability to develop new skills, abilities and knowledge efficiently through team collaboration, self-development and hands on engagement delivery efforts.
  • Ability to work and lead diverse client engagements
  • Ability to influence revenues through successful client engagements
  • Ability to effectively work with the sales teams and other areas of AT&T business area as needed
  • Ability to acquire security clearances if required by the engagement
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally
Desired Education and Certification
  • Bachelors  Degree is not required, but a Bachelors of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or MIS is preferred
  • Industry Certifications including but not limited to Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, HP, Dell
