Cargill is seeking an exceptional Senior Cyber Intelligence Analyst for our growing security organization. This is a key position to strengthen the cyber intelligence capabilities which has been identified as a critical area for growth and specialization within Global IT’s scope. As part of Cargill’s Cyber Intelligence Team, you will be helping our customers make more informed decisions and improving situational awareness of Cargill employees and leaders operating in various capacities industries.
This position requires a passionate cyber security professional with demonstrated experience and success working with a decentralized team of cyber intelligence analysts. You will assist in the collection, analysis, and dissemination of information and intelligence products to a variety of customers. This role will collaborate with our Cyber Intelligence Operations Teams (Analytics & Integrations, Vulnerability Management, and Cyber Scouts) and Cyber Threat Management Teams (CSIRT, SOC, and Investigations).
As part of this role, you will also assist in establishing intelligence requirements for the Cyber Intelligence Team’s customers and conduct, prepare, and deliver a variety of assessments for our customers. Execute the intelligence cycle of collecting, analyzing, and disseminating information meeting customer intelligence requirements
Assist in the creation of intelligence requirements
Develop expertise on adversaries, attack trends, and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
Perform strategic analysis working in support of Cyber Intelligence Operations and Cyber Threat Management to include but not limited to:
Country assessments to collect and analyze information related to cyber activities, adversaries, cyber hygiene, and global events
Merger & acquisition assessments to collect and analyze information relevant to the engagement such as industry global events, adversaries, and cyber activities
Applying our ontology to understand and catalog adversaries, TTPs, cyber activities, and global events
Support our tactical analysis (indicator of compromise life cycle) with strategic information
Create content and produce intelligence reports and deliverables using a variety of internal and external sources for various teams and leadership throughout Cargill
Prepare and deliver intelligence briefings
Provide situational awareness to other cybersecurity teams within Cargill
Participate in information sharing lists and groups in order to collect and share information
Works to maintain existing, and develop new, cyber intelligence contacts in the cyber intelligence community
Work closely with Cyber Intelligence Operations Teams to include Analytics & Integrations, Vulnerability Management, and Cyber Scouts
Support and provide information to the Cyber Threat Management Teams to include Cyber Security Incident Response Team, Security Operations Center, and Investigations.
Collaborate with and deliver intelligence reports to various teams and leaders within Cargill’s Technology Governance, Risks, and Controls organization
Maintain awareness of latest cybersecurity adversaries, exploits, vulnerabilities, breaches, global events, and mitigation strategies.
Conduct research on cyber campaigns, adversary tracking, or TTP detections in order to offer insights to the rest of the team and the cyber intelligence community
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
4-6 years of relevant experience whether in information technology, information security, law enforcement, or military intelligence
One industry certification (CISSP, SANS, CompTIA, etc.) or ability to obtain within one year of hire
Conducting all-source intelligence
Collections management and delivering information meeting intelligence requirements
Analysis of information collected to identify trends and insights and briefing those findings
Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate analysis in a clear and understandable manner
Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills
Must be flexible to work with global teams and working on different time zones
Business fluency in English
Ability to travel globally up to 20%
5 + years of professional experience specifically in military, government, or law enforcement intelligence
Knowledge of the intelligence community, Information Sharing Analysis Centers, and US government departments
Senior leaders briefing and presentation experience
Self-starter, self-motivated, and able to work independently while following the teams mission and vision in a fast-paced operationally focused environment
