We are looking for an Associate Analyst Intern to join the Marketing Analytics team in Global Analytics & Insights.  This individual will be based at the EA Redwood Shores campus, working closely with team members and stakeholders from all over the world in Vancouver, Orlando, Stockholm, Geneva, and Bucharest.  The right candidate will be able to drive decision-making insights to support EA’s central business teams in the product marketing, media, and publishing organizations.

  • Collaborate with other central teams to explore opportunities that can improve the player experience, optimize acquisition strategies, and drive incremental revenue and/or reduce costs

  • Work closely with other analysts to define player segments and identify behavioral differences

  • Develop and analyze experiments to evaluate the performance of marketing strategies, campaigns, and other initiatives

  • Explore various sources of information (internal player data, survey results, research data, industry sources) to gain insights, support decision-making processes, and inform strategy

  • Identify potential regional differences in consumption of media, player behavior, and consumer interests

  • Monitor market conditions to understand price optimization and consumer attitude toward digital content

  • Communicate and present findings to key stakeholders



  • Hands on experience, preferably in gaming, banking, or consulting

  • Excellent SQL skills, including extensive experience querying large, complex data sets

  • Familiarity with a data visualization software package, e.g., Tableau

  • Familiarity with a statistical software package, e.g. SAS, Stata or R

  • Familiarity with A/B testing

  • Solid knowledge of Excel, e.g. pivot tables, vlookup, charts and graphs

  • Team player and self-starter with the ability to liaise with multiple teams and stakeholders

  • A. or B.S. in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, and/or Engineering Sciences; Master’s Degree a plus

  • Passion for videogames is a plus
