Duties: This position reports to the Vice President of Outreach and supports the CareerSafe Outreach and Operations teams by performing research and data analysis duties that will help ensure the success of the CareerSafe program as a whole. Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain the accuracy & completeness of all existing business systems data
  • Seek out new, relevant web-based data sources the team can utilize to identify opportunities, threats, and trends to make better decisions and/or improve outreach effectiveness
  • Validate & format raw data to facilitate clean exchanges into/between business systems
  • Create, generate, maintain, and deliver daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and dashboards using data from multiple internal business systems and external sources
  • Quickly but thoughtfully evaluate data points and build meaningful and useful reports & maps in response to ad-hoc inquiries by Leadership
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert in Salesforce Administration in order assist and backup Lead Administrator
  • Identify opportunities for reporting automation process improvements and offer creative solutions
  • Other data-related projects and duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated experience working with raw and formatted data as inputs and converting it into meaningful reports, dashboards, and maps as outputs
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products with advanced expertise using Microsoft Excel including heavy use of features such as formulas, conditional formatting, filters, charts, graphs, pivot tables, data import, and macros
  • Capable of demonstrating a high degree of judgment, discretion, and confidentiality regarding sensitive data
  • Demonstrated experience creating mission-critical business reports and/or technical documents
  • Basic experience with one or more scripting and/or programming languages (e.g. Visual Basic, JavaScript, Python or Java).
  • Knowledge and experience with basic statistics
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Database administration experience
  • Extremely high attention to detail, time management
  • Demonstrated analytic and critical thinking skills
  • Team-player attitude and work ethic
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with one or more eCommerce platforms (e.g. QuickBooks, PayPal)
  • Experience with one or more relational database systems (e.g. MS SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres, Oracle)
  • Experience with one or more reporting development tools and environments (e.g. Business Objects, Cognos, Crystal Reports, JasperReports)
  • Experience with one or more business intelligence systems (e.g. SAP, Talend, Pentaho etc.)
  • 1-2 years’ experience using Salesforce CRM or similar customer relationship management Systems
  • Familiarity with MapAnything plug-in for Salesforce CRM or other industry-standard mapping tool such as ArcGIS or Google Fusion Tables
  • Experience creating and/or utilizing reports from Google Ads and Google Analytics data

Education and Experience:  Bachelor’s degree in Business, MIS, Mathematic, Statistics or other related fields. 1-3 years of related experience preferred.

Work Environment: This job operates in a well-lit and temperature controlled office environment. In this role there will be use of standard office equipment.

Compensation: $20-$22 per hour ($41,600-$45,760 annually); commensurate with experience
