Position Details:

We are looking for a Content Marketing Manager to create, edit and manage all existing and new content for Forte Payment Systems. This is an excellent opportunity to drive new leads and meet departmental goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Have exceptional writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to adopt the style, tone, and voice of Forte's various types of content
  • Be accountable for all content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, and leads that ultimately scale opportunities, sales, and customer retention
  • Collaborate across functions, silos, and go-to-market channels to deliver an effective content marketing strategy
  • Create multiple resources each month to drive leads, subscribers, awareness, and other important metrics (blog posts, ebooks, whitepapers, infographics, demos, guides, press releases)
  • Blog on an ongoing basis to attract site visitors through search, social media, and email subscribers - responsible for writing various types of articles on a wide range of topics
  • Provide regular, helpful content that aligns with prospect needs and interests - resulting in lead and opportunity generation
  • Collaborate with designers, channel marketers, sales professionals, external influencers, and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of our audience
  • Manage both on-page and off-page SEO
  • Improve organic search engine performance - goal setting based on click-through rates, traffic, conversions
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and changes with SEO and major search engines
  • Be responsible for a consistent brand voice, style, and tone
  • Drive the creation of original concepts that result in compelling communication
  • Develop and manage editorial calendars and organization workflows
  • Integrate content programs with brand/channel campaigns
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required experience and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, advertising or related
  • 5+ years relevant experience in digital content and Copyrighting
  • Experience producing web content
  • Experience building audiences online or offline
  • Experience with data-driven SEO analysis and optimization
  • Dual-minded - highly creative and an excellent writer, but can also be process driven
  • Experience in B2B marketing (payments industry experience a plus)
  • Experience with Google Analytics and Google AdWords
  • Excellent written, oral, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Project management - develop project plans, coordinate projects, communicate changes/progress/setbacks/next steps, complete projects on time
  • Understand self-management and autonomous working situations - demonstrates planning and organizational skills, prioritizes and plans work activities
  • Must be highly organized with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
