Oversee activities and provide guidance to Payroll Benefits Accounting shared service center (SSC) team.
Act as local accounting process expert for Human Resources in their design and use of ADP payroll systems, supported by SSC accounting teams.
Support human resources colleagues to establish annual fringe benefit rates and monitor actual costs during the year.
Participate as accounting expert in payroll/benefit projects such as migration of acquired companies to Henkel payroll systems and Henkel benefits.
Oversee activities and provide guidance to Fixed Asset Accounting SSC team.
Learn details of fixed asset system and procedures in order to act as a local fixed asset process expert for the North American business controlling teams.
Coordinate fixed asset physical inventories with local responsible business users.
Participate in fixed asset projects such as migrations to Henkel fixed asset systems by acquired companies.
Interface with Henkel internal tax department for harmonization and effective performance of satellite tax depreciation fixed asset system.
Review monthly account reconciliations prepared by SSCs, providing input for process improvements and assisting in problem resolution of escalated issues.
Bachelors degree in business with 5+ years of accounting experience.
Strong Excel skills for data analysis, verification, and cost modeling.
Experience with SAP a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with all levels of management and global colleagues.
