  • Oversee activities and provide guidance to Payroll Benefits Accounting shared service center (SSC) team. 

  • Act as local accounting process expert for Human Resources in their design and use of ADP payroll systems, supported by SSC accounting teams. 

  • Support human resources colleagues to establish annual fringe benefit rates and monitor actual costs during the year. 

  • Participate as accounting expert in payroll/benefit projects such as migration of acquired companies to Henkel payroll systems and Henkel benefits. 

  • Oversee activities and provide guidance to Fixed Asset Accounting SSC team. 

  • Learn details of fixed asset system and procedures in order to act as a local fixed asset process expert for the North American business controlling teams. 

  • Coordinate fixed asset physical inventories with local responsible business users. 

  • Participate in fixed asset projects such as migrations to Henkel fixed asset systems by acquired companies.

  • Interface with Henkel internal tax department for harmonization and effective performance of satellite tax depreciation fixed asset system. 

  • Review monthly account reconciliations prepared by SSCs, providing input for process improvements and assisting in problem resolution of escalated issues. 


  • Bachelors degree in business with 5+ years of accounting experience. 

  • Strong Excel skills for data analysis, verification, and cost modeling. 

  • Experience with SAP a plus. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with all levels of management and global colleagues.
