Job Description:

The position is responsible for the accurate and timely distribution of partnership-level financials, as well as managing the accounting, tax, A/P and payroll teams. 


Primary Responsibilities:


 



  • Directs the work activities and has management responsibility for the performance and development of subordinate staff in accordance with corporate strategic direction.

  • Develops, implements and administers accounting policies, procedures and practices. 

  • Ensures accurate and timely recording and reporting of operating results. 

  • Performs financial statement and balance sheet review and analysis. 

  • Ensures maintenance of general ledger, payables and cash. 

  • Supports/Stands-In for Payroll Coordinator.

  • Makes work assignments, schedules and reviews work in progress. 

  • Determines the proper accounting treatment of transactions.

  • Supervises preparation of and approves reports. 

  • Acts as liaison between Management and Owners.

  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

 Skills: 



  • 10-Key by touch

  • Excellent computer skills, including Excel and Word

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Sage 100 (MAS 90 or MAS 200) experience preferred

  • Previous management experience required

  • Preferred industry experience includes hospitality, third party management or real estate

  • Knowledge of consolidation within a partnership preferred 

Experience

  • 3 year(s): At least three years progressive experience in a real estate construction related industry, hospitality development (corporate office, not on site) experience preferred, partnership accounting experience STRONGLY preferred.
