As the SharePoint Subject Matter Expert (SME) L3, you will function as an engineer in a managed services environment supporting a variety of customers ranging from medium size business to large enterprise. The SME's primary responsibilities include monitoring, administering, and supporting Microsoft SharePoint.
Essential Job Functions:
Serve as a point of escalation for incidents and problems involving the configuration, administration, security, and compliance of SharePoint servers and sites.
Performs systems maintenance, upgrades, capacity planning, and administration.
Develops, documents, and standardizes preventative maintenance routines to ensure system availability and performance standards on production systems.
Investigates, troubleshoots, and resolves incidents and problems within defined service level agreements (SLAs).
Communicates effectively with various entities, including CRMs, account managers, remote site personnel, and client technical and non-technical resources.
Microsoft SharePoint Server (2016, 2013, 2010)
Microsoft Windows Server (2008, 2012, 2016)
Core Server infrastructure (DNS, DHCP, SNMP, etc.)
Microsoft failover clustering
Server Optimization and Hardening
System backup and restore management
VMware + HyperV
Working knowledge of storage technology
Windows Debug, Crash dump analysis
Windows OS Patching, Driver and firmware updates
Ability to lift 50lbs, datacenter racking\stacking, cabling
