What you’ll do on a typical day:


  • Work with the Vice President of Business Development to drive and execute strategic projects and initiatives

  • Cultivate and nurture strategic partnerships with outside organizations that improve and/or complement XPO’s offerings in the marketplace

  • Provide strategic support to senior leadership within the business unit and at the corporate level

  • Manage, train and guide the analyst team and their output, maintaining oversight of reporting, research and thought leadership development, data analysis, strategic project management and senior executive support

  • Collaborate with sales team to design strategy and solutions for Managed Transportation and Dedicated Transportation pursuits; provide project management

  • Develop process improvements and standardization to maximize sales effectiveness

  • Conduct product development including market research, segmentation and go-to-market planning

  • Assist with developing and writing responses to customer RFIs, RFPs and standard sales collateral

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or Operations Management

  • 4 years of progressive career advancement, or similar experience, in supply chain

It’d be great if you also have:


  • Availability to travel 50-70% of the time

  • Proven history of demonstrating an extremely high sense of urgency, personal energy and stamina; capable of handling multiple priorities and extensive time demands with a high level of personal integrity

  • Demonstrated ability as a collaborative, innovative and strategic thinker who is decisive and results oriented

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
