Honolulu office of our client seeks associate attorney with 1 year of experience preferably litigation, real estate or mortgage law. The candidate will work either in the firms Hawaii Judicial Foreclosure or Hawaii Litigation Department, and will manage cases with an emphasis on residential real estate litigation, mortgage and transactional matters and protect the client's interest in litigation proceedings and general collection cases. Will manage cases from inception to completion. Prepare analysis of case and advise client regarding strategies. Draft court pleadings, defense of motions. Attend court hearings, both telephonic and in person. Perform other duties and special projects as needed. Provides exceptional customer service to internal and external customers. Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner. Conscientious with respect to work completion, deadlines, time management and attendance. Takes initiative in face of obstacles and identifies what needs to be done and takes action. Demonstrates commitment to the Firm's vision, mission and core values. Must have admission to practice law in the state of Hawaii.
