Responsibilities

Hexagon is seeking a Global Communications Manager to lead all external marketing communications for Hexagon's Safety & Infrastructure division. This role will report to the VP of Safety & Infrastructure Global Marketing and will be responsible for driving strategy and execution of all digital customer experience journeys, to include public relations, social, web, email, and more.

This individual will be an experienced content strategist, B2B writer, and relationship manager with the ability to quickly deliver clear, powerful content in a variety of formats, and a vision for connecting key business themes and content channels. This role will work across the organization globally, partnering with senior leaders in marketing, strategy, and creative to ensure our external communications are on target and aligned with the SI's strategic, messaging, and branding goals. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Create, manage, and execute a strategic and effective communications plan that supports Hexagon's long-term brand building and business goals, as well as ongoing, daily communications
  • Lead strategy, development, and content creation efforts for the Hexagon SI website, creating an integrated customer experience with our other digital platforms
  • Manage the global PR, communications, marketing automation, and social media marketing teams to build the brand and drive demand globally
  • Develop strategic relationships with key media and manage day-to-day media relations
  • Partner with other leaders and company groups to make sure corporate communications are in lockstep with and fully leverage other initiatives and programs
  • Collaborate with demand generation, product marketing, events, legal, and finance to support campaigns, communications, and events with relevant content, PR, AR, and social media
  • Measure and report on key success and failure metrics over time and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Serve as company spokesperson as needed for certain media, analyst, and public speaking engagements


Qualifications

  • 10+ years' experience in communications, public relations, content marketing, and digital marketing strategy in a global capacity in a B2B technology environment
  • Superior writing skills, with the ability to develop and edit high-quality materials, such as communications plans, whitepapers, product sheets, blogs, bylined articles, trend analysis summaries, executive correspondence, and presentations
  • Ability to think strategically and analytically and make sound decisions quickly and efficiently
  • Highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a passion to lead top talent and inspire creativity while meeting deadlines
  • Experience building public and analyst relations, as well as with brand development, content creation, social media, website / SEO strategy, and thought leadership campaigns
  • Strong ability to collaborate with others for success in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Energetic and resourceful problem solver who gets things moving and keeps them on track
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple ongoing activities
  • Expert-level marketing measurement and reporting
