Job Description:

Responsible for the development and delivery of analytical solutions in support of healthcare business initiatives that drive the short and long-term objectives of the organization. Create and develop essential department reports and deliverables using various software applications (SQL, excel, predictive analytic tools) to ensure timely dissemination of accurate information to organizational decision-makers.

Essential Functions:


  • Conduct statistical analysis of clinical data to drive insights and strategic recommendations.

  • Develops models to identify trends and predicts future revenue and costs and the impact of different scenarios.

  • Design, develop and implement quantitative analyses on drivers of health care cost and utilization using integrated health care datasets to support population health analytics, modeling and financial pro forma development.

  • Assume responsibility for data integrity among various internal groups and/or between internal and external sources

  • Analyze data from various sources, recommend best approaches for its consolidation, and contribute to the development and management of the data and analytics infrastructure.Provide data analysis, interpretation, and consultation to maximize the use of Population Health data (claims, financial, and clinical data) in order to support needs of senior management.

  • Create scalable, automated processes for identifying potential areas for population health improvement; including clinical outcomes.

  • Anticipates and recognizes matters that affect the organizations ability to create valid measures, reports and analyses and take appropriate action to reduce bias.

Additional Responsibilities:

    Candidate Education:


    • Required A Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Informatics, Data Science, Health Care Management, Business, Economics, Information Technology, Finance, or similar field

    • Preferred A Master's Degree in MHA, MPH, MBA, or MS in Computer Science or clinical license (MD, RN, NP, etc.)
    Candidate Experience:


    • Required 6+ years of experience in data science, informatics, business analysis, or comparable quantitative position

    • Required 3+ years of experience in Healthcare experience

    • Preferred Other Project Management
