Regional Distribution Manager Deliver business value through Right and Fast partnership
The Regional Distribution Manager (RDM) is a key role in the organization that provides support and management of assigned authorized distributor (AD) relationships, resulting in mutually profitable growth. The RDM works closely with cross functional team members to create new business opportunity. Supports AD team members in sales visits and opportunity management. This position requires a highly motivated, self-confident individual of the highest integrity who possesses a wide range of knowledge, skills and abilities.
Meet/exceed revenue Point of Purchase (POP) and Point of Sale (POS) plan
Development and enforcement of strategies to close gaps at strategic branches
Develop a Mutual Action Plan with the National Distribution Managers
Conduct regular business reviews
Ensure product training and new product introductions provided to AD
Price contract alignment and order management
New product introductions, training and promotions
20 Attend (trade shows, seminars, events) 20 Visit Customers 20 Search for New Customers 20 Campaign Management 20 Customer Reporting
YOU MUST HAVE
High School Diploma or equivalent
1+ years of channel sales management experience
3+ years of experience in selling (industrial) products
A broad knowledge of sales principles and best practices
Experience with Electronic Distribution channel management
Experience with demand generation/prospecting
Experience salesforce.com and CRM methodology
Significant experience in selling industrial products
