Primary Responsibilities:
  • Maintain general ledger accounts and related activities for the production of financial statements and reports
  • Reconcile, analyze and review general ledger accounts in preparation for month end close
  • Prepare journal entries and reviews accounting classifications, in accordance with generally-accepted accounting principles
  • Assist with the month end and quarterly end close process
  • Analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and statements of financial position
  • Performs work in a self-directed manner and works with less structured, more complex issues
  • Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis and investigate issues providing explanations and interpretation
  • Develop innovative approaches for improvement in efficiency and effectiveness
  • Serve as a resource to others


Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
  • 2+ years of professional accounting experience
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with foreign currencies & global markets
  • Ability to understand and apply generally accepted accounting principles and financial statements
  • Identifies solutions to non-standard requests and problems
  • Solves moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analyses
