Position Responsibilities:
  • Serve as Lead Cost Accountant for Honeywell UOP including developing and implementing cost standards and maintaining the cost accounting system.
  • This position will have a role in directing the planning and forecasting process for the supply chain to include support of the development and implementation of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Strategic Plan (STRAP), and preparation of the Plant Monthly Operating Review (MOR).
  • Management of the general accounting process in accordance with US GAAP to include period closure, balance sheet account reconciliation, fluctuation analysis, manufacturing cost variance analysis, and PP&E accounting
  • Play an important role in managing financial performance and implementing finance strategies to achieve committed business performance

75 Cost Accounting 25 Plant Controller
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3+ years' Cost Accounting experience with SAP

  • Ability to present complex analysis with clarity
  • Ability to understand accounting and financial processes related to the business
  • Highly proficient in Excel financial models
  • Ability to manage multiple, critical projects simultaneously and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of US GAAP Sarbanes-Oxley and Internal controls
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial audience
