The Senior International Tax Manager will be responsible for participating in the development, maintenance, and tax compliance of efficient tax structures. The ideal candidate will evaluate staffing needs to ensure maximum productivity, be responsible for the development of managers and staff, and be responsible for helping drive objectives and motivating the team to get results, operate with a sense of urgency, and have the ability to be a big picture strategic thinker.  The successful candidate will be expected to gain an understanding of the business activities of their assigned entities to ensure proper tax treatment of business-related issues and identify opportunities.    






A Day In The Life Typically Includes:

  • Analyze tax return items in order to ensure reporting is aligned with and appropriately reflects business transactions and tax positions

  • Consult with management to determine how findings will affect the strategic and operating plan

  • Review US international income tax returns including Forms 8865, 5471, and 8858

  • Analysis and implementation of the 2017 U.S. tax reform, including GILTI, BEAT, FDII, and US foreign tax credit implications.

  • Build relationships and understand the business of assigned entities in order to assess tax opportunities and ensure accurate reporting of items on tax returns

  • Maintain tax positions and attributes for assigned entities

  • Manage all projects and process related reporting, compliance and planning

What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of working experience in an international corporate income tax role

  • 2+ years of experience with foreign tax credit

  • 3+ years of supervisory/leadership experience

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in one of the following (Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or Taxation) or a JD

What Will Put You Ahead?

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous major CPA/law firm or large multi-national corporation experience

  • Master’s degree in Taxation or JD

  • CPA certification
