Job Description:

Belimo is a global leader in the development, production and marketing of actuator solutions for controlling heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.  Actuators, control valves and sensors make up the company's core business.


JOB SUMMARY

The Project Group Leader is responsible for supervising the Production Assembly Department to insure efficiencies of all required processes.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

The Project Group Leader reports directly to the Production Manager and bears full responsibility for agreed upon goals and objectives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Lead Production team in daily activities, such as planning, scheduling, and directing workers

  • Lead and motivate employees to reach goals in safety, productivity, performance, on time delivery, quality, and other company objectives

  • Communicate organizations targets, goals, and objectives to direct reports

  • Lead, facilitate, and participate in various Production projects

  • Gather, formulate, interpret, and present KPI data on department performance

  • Promote a safe, clean, organized, and healthy work environment

  • Facilitate the proper use and maintenance of department equipment, machinery, tools, and furnishings

  • Assist in disciplinary process for unwanted behavior or poor performance

  • Perform employee appraisals as well as assist in the merit and bonus process

  • Perform routine inventories

  • Assist in department planning such as budgets, personnel deployment, formulating labor standards, and use of other resources

  • Interact with internal and external stakeholders to support business objectives

REQUIREMENTS


  • Associate degree or higher desired

  • Must have 5+ years of manufacturing.

  • Must have Lean & project experience.

  • Ability to manage projects from ideation to completion

  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience

  • Proficient with ERP and business software

  • Ability to communicate in written and verbal form to professional standards

  • Self-actuated, organized, efficient, and career driven.
