About this role:
The Senior Information Security Analyst identifies, investigates, analyzes, and remediates information security events to ensure enterprise integrity against technical and physical risks. This position:
Conducts proactive IT Compliance assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of security controls
Provides governance over PCI and SOX Compliance to meet regulatory requirements and UPS policies
Manages and conducts project management over multiple large scale remediation efforts across several cross functional groups
Provides tracking, reporting and dashboard visibility on Risk based, SOX and PCI remediation initiatives
Analyzes potential risk scenarios and facilitates corrective action plans to ensure controls effectiveness for mitigating exposure to identified risks
Communicates security compliance issues and control gaps through security governance and audit control processes
Recommends and monitors information security and IT security controls for all regulated systems and data across the enterprise
Participates in the development and maintenance of remediation and self-audit plans for critical and regulated systems
Must have at least one year of experience with AUDIT REMEDIATION
Minimum of 1 years’ experience performing Information Security IT Compliance Assessments and working with IT Regulated environments and compliance and remediation plans
Must have 2-4 years’ experience in general Information Security
Must have 2 years Project Coordination experience
Intermediate-level proficiency with Information Security Controls, Security Compliance Analysis, Security Risk Assessment/Analysis, Data Privacy Analysis, Information Security Controls Assessment, Security Control Gap Analysis
Effective communication skills, attention to detail, organized
Bachelor's and/or Master's degree
